Today I’m making Malai Ice Cream with fresh strawberries 🍓 Ingredients: 1/2 cup Condensed milk 1/4th cup Malai 1 cup Heavy Whipping cream Pinch of salt Process: •In a bowl whip the cream with an electric beater or hand whisk until stiff peaks •In other bowl mix together condensed milk and milk malai or rabri along with a pinch of salt •Gently fold in the whipped cream in parts into the condensed milk mixture •Let if freeze for atleast 6-8hours or overnight •Let the ice cream soften for 15 minutes before serving, scoop out the ice cream and serve with fresh strawberries and enjoy #icecream #malaiicecream #icecreamrecipe

Hungry for something real? Salata de vinete is what happens when fire meets patience and nobody cuts corners. Eggplants are thrown straight onto flame or hot coals until their skins blacken, split, and collapse, the inside turning into a smoky, trembling pulp that smells like late summer and burnt wood. This is not delicate food. This is peasant logic perfected over generations across the Danube plains and Balkan kitchens, where wasting time or flavor was never an option. The process is brutally simple and absolutely unforgiving. Roast whole eggplants until they are completely soft, almost falling apart in your hands. Peel them while still warm, let the bitter juices drain away, then chop or beat the flesh with a wooden knife or spoon until it becomes a pale, airy paste. Salt goes in first. Then good sunflower oil, slowly, like you are building an emulsion by instinct, not measurement. Some add finely chopped onion for sharpness, others fold in a restrained spoon of mayonnaise for body, but the backbone remains that deep, unmistakable smokiness. Served cold, spread thick on bread, with slices of ripe tomatoes bleeding sweetness on the side, it hits with a quiet force that no modern plating can imitate. It tastes like restraint and excess at the same time. Soft, oily, smoky, with that slight vegetal bitterness that keeps you coming back for another bite just to understand it better. This is not a dish you rush through. It lingers, it stains your fingers, it demands bread, conversation, maybe a second glass of something strong. You don’t improve it, you respect it. So tell me, do you keep it stripped down and honest, or do you give in and make it richer than it should be? And how far are you willing to go for that perfect smoky bite? One Pan Winter Chicken Lasagne I've always loved making lasagne like this. It's quick, there's hardly any dishes and it tastes incredible... This is the cosiest dinner you will eat all Winter If you like my recipes I think you're going to love my cookbook Easy 10! I00 deliciously simple recipes, based around the ingredients you already buy every week... I have written up the recipe for this below. A x Feeds 4 Oil for frying 4 savoy cabbage leaves, tough stem removed and finely sliced 1 large leek finely sliced 500g chicken mince 40g butter 45g flour 500ml (18 fl.oz) chicken stock 400ml milk (+ 50ml) to make the sauce) 1 tbsp dried oregano 4 sheets of fresh lasagne (approx size 25cm x 15cm per sheet) cut lengthways into 2-3 cm strips 280g garlic & herb philadelphia (soft cheese) 80g (3oz) grated cheddar cheese salt and ground black pepper Heat a drizzle of oil in a non-stick pan that can be used under the grill and on the hob. Add the cabbage and leeks and fry on a medium heat for 5 minutes until soft. Remove from the pan and add the chicken mince with a little more oil. Fry for 3-5 minutes until no longer pink. Stir in the butter until melted. Stir in the flour on the heat, until it disappears into the chicken mince and the mixture begins to sizzle. Add half the stock and bring to the boil, stirring continuously until it thickens and is bubbling. Add the other half of the stock and bring it back to the boil whilst stirring. Do the same with the 400ml of milk until you have a smooth sauce. Return the veg to the pan with the oregano. Season with salt and pepper. Add the lasagne strips to the pan and stir until all strands are covered in sauce. Bring to the boil and simmer for around 3 minutes, or until the pasta is soft. In the meantime, blitz the soft cheese and 50ml of milk, together with some salt and pepper.. Take the pasta off the heat and pour the sauce over the top, spreading it evenly right up to the edges. Top with grated cheese, before grilling on a medium heat for 5 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and toasted. #dinnerideas #onePandinner #chickenmince

Food To Fit - Episode 19 High Protein Chicken Wrap 🌯 Detailed recipe: ✨Chicken filling (Qty as per 2 serving): 400g of chicken breast, diced in small cubes; marinate with: 1/2 cup curd, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 spoon mustard paste/ sauce, 1/2 tsp of each- coriander powder, red chilli powder, black pepper; salt as per taste, chilli flakes. Mix everything well and keep aside for as long as you can. Then grease a pan with oil, add the entire marinated chicken, cover and cook for 15 mins until the chicken is well cooked, then separate the pieces and the gravy. Roast the chicken pieces separately on the pan, until golden brown. ✨Veggies: Toss in your favourite veggies with some chopped onions and seasonings of your choice. ✨Assemble everything in a whole wheat tortilla or leftover roti(like I did); add the gravy, the roasted chicken, veggies, and your protein & flavour packed wrap is ready!❤️ Excellent option for meal prep too!✨ #healthy #healthyfood #protein #highprotein #foodwatii . . .
