THThe creator behind ‘Skibidi Toilet,’ YouTuber Alexey ‘DaFuqBoom Gerasimov, has reportedly lost creative control over the web series and his YouTube channel.
According to posts online from content studio Invisible Narratives have allegedly pressed the YouTuber over payments and content schedules.
The online posts claim that the YouTuber has been “isolated” from projects, and has been met with a lack of transparency from Invisible Narratives.
The content studio handles the web series’ expansion into various media, including the upcoming Skibidi Toilet movie.
In 2023, the studio allegedly filed a copyright claim against sandbox game Garry's Mod, the sandbox game which primarily uses assets from Half-Life 2 and, ironically, from which Skibidi Toilet originated.
The claim was supposedly issued on behalf of Gerasimov, though the creator later posted that he did not send it.
