My husband gave me permission to record and post this 🙏🏻 His sleep paralysis started picking up after his time in the military 🥺 I felt horrible not helping him, but we needed the evidence to prove his sleeping disorder to the VA.. Usually I shake him awake as soon as I notice he’s experiencing another episode.. However, sometimes I’m too deep asleep myself and he’s stuck fighting for himself 😭❤️‍🩹 As you can see, this video is almost a minute long but would have lasted longer if I didn’t wake him up. It’s so heart breaking watching a loved one struggle with this 💔 #sleepparalysis #sleepdisorder

This sudden contraction results in the familiar twitch or jerk sensation we experience. 📊 Stress, Caffeine, and Exercise: While sleep twitches are a natural part of the sleep process, certain factors may increase their occurrence.
