Cheats Beef Stifado 1 x onion diced or sliced 500g beef, diced 1 tbsp cornflour 1 tbsp tomato purée 1 can whole tomatoes 200ml beef stock @knorruki 1 tsp of each cumin, oregano and sugar 3/4 of a tsp cinnamon 3-4 garlic clove minced or tbsp lazy garlic @verylazyfooduk 1 Tbsp soy sauce 1 Tbsp tomato ketchup Salt and pepper to taste Pop meat in slow cooker and cover with cornflour and mix. Then add everything else. Add everything else and mash the whole tomatoes so they are small. then cook on high for 4 and half to 5 hours until meat is tender or 8-9 on low. #slowcooker #familymeals

When I tell you this slow cooker Mongolian beef is ADDICTING, I mean it 🔥 Here’s how I make it: • Mix sauce together: - 1/2 cup brown sugar - 1/2 cup soy sauce - 1 tbsp minced garlic - 1 tbsp ground ginger - 1 tbsp sesame oil - 1 tbsp rice vinegar - 1 tsp onion powder • Add chuck roast to crock pot (1 use about a 3lb boneless cut) • Pour sauce over meat and flip a few times to coat • Cook on low for 8 hours That’s it! SO easy! Low and slow is key - I’m barely touching it and it just falls apart 😍 I serve with jasmine rice and air fried broccoli and it it just 🙌🔥👏 You can add a cornstarch/water mixture to the sauce at the end if you prefer a thicker consistency. We’ve done both and you can’t go wrong either way 👍 We make rice bowls or stir fry noodles with leftovers the next night!
