Sit & reach test = first part Yummy stretch = second part Stretching tip 💡: remember to stretch both legs & if one side feels much tighter, stretch this side first, then the other and the tighter side again. This way, you’ll work the tighter side twice to even out any imbalances. For this test (classically a box with a ruler is required) you ‚simply’ sit on the floor and see how far you can reach your arms forward in order to check your own flexibility. This test measures the flexibility of your lower back & hamstrings (basically the whole back line). ➡️A round back & hands hovering over your knees might indicate that picking up a yoga or stretching routine would be good for you to avoid potential future injuries in your daily life activities! Sit & reach test For this test, classically a box with a ruler is needed. Since I don’t own that, and you probably don’t either, I can still show you how to check your own flexibility. This test measures the flexibility of your lower back & hamstrings. Simply sit & reach arms forward. When performed with the box hands are stacked on top of each other, but you can simply hold them next to one another. A round back & hands hovering over your knees suggest picking up a yoga or stretching routine would be good for you to avoid potential future injuries in your daily life activities.
