I personally incorporate TCM into my life and my practice because of its big-picture approach to healing. It focuses on achieving true cellular healing without overlooking critical components by narrowing in too much on microscopic details. For example, TCM views hypothyroidism as an issue connected to the adrenal glands, while Western medicine tends to focus solely on the thyroid itself. This broader perspective allows TCM to address multiple factors contributing to hypothyroidism, rather than isolating just one. I take a similar approach when addressing any disease. Conventional medicine often relies heavily on bloodwork, dismissing symptoms if the numbers appear “normal.” But your bloodwork doesn’t always tell the full story. If you’re recently Chinese… try this waterless Chicken soup Recipe by @shishisimple This soup is a reason why Asian students can study so long and still perform! 1 whole chicken 1 onion 1 apple 1 pear 3 cabbage leaves 2 slice ginger Salt Place sliced onion on the bottom, fruits on top, cabbage after, and clean full chicken on top with ginger slices. Choose a heavy pot with tight lid so no steam escapes. Use a baking paper as a layer if your lid is wobbly. Cover tightly and cook on very low heat until the ingredients release their sweet, nourishing broth (about 2.5-3 hours). Have you tried chicken essense before? 💬 #chinese #tcm #soup #broth
