Spotting Saturday! They can push up into a bridge from the floor, arms straight, head off the ground…now what? Time to stat learning a back bend! My favourite technique is spotting with my fingers behind the arms and my thumb pushing down in front, right at the shoulders. It helps me guide into the right position, control the speed, AND ensure they are arching and trying to go for the narrow bridge. Don’t worry if they are reaching far from their feet, keep parting and it will come! Most importantly: keep feet FLAT on the ground, NO TIPPY TOES! Here are some bikes with seat heights that may be a bit more comfortable for taller riders! The great thing about being a taller rider is you technically don’t have a limitation to what you can ride. I’m 5’1 with about a 29 inch inseam length, so bikes with a seat height over 30 inches put me on my tippy toes! If you’re a tall rider, you can ride just about anything! As I’ve gotten more comfortable with my riding skills, I actually have chosen a bike with a 31.3 inch seat height (yes, I’m on my toes) so ultimately it does come down to what you’re comfortable with riding 😇 PS. FOR MY FELLOW SHORT QUEENS 😍 I’m a 5’1 rider with a 28 inch inseam length for reference! I’ve accepted that I’ll be on my tippy toes for the majority of my rides, but as I’ve become more and more comfy on two wheels I’m finding myself more confident on bikes that have higher seat heights than what I’m used to! For example, I started riding on a Honda rebel 500 where both my feet could touch the ground flat. Now I’m riding an R3 and Ducati scrambler and I’m on my toes the majority of the time, but I feel comfortable and confident! I’ve made a few other videos like this with bikes that have *lower* seat heights, but here are a few higher CC options that can also be suited for us short girlies! ☺️🩵 . . . . . #motogirl #motorcyclegirl #bikerbabe #bikelife #girlsthatride #womenwhoride

LET’S FIX MY FORM 💪 . Today’s two biggest take aways: ✨Arms move OPPOSITE of legs when we run. This is so they can balance each other. Cross-connection is huge for a lot of movements in track in general. ✨Feet are dorsiflexed when we run. I can state this enough, as I have seen so so SO many people running on their tippy toes and wondering why running is so tough and hurts so much. . Hopefully these two takeaways help! I know they were helpful for me! Thanks me 😉 (plus all my incredible coaches and trainers, PTs and experts I’ve learned from over the last decade I guess 🥱😂🫶)
