There’s just something so interesting about a mini skirt. To be honest I was such a judgmental person when I would see some trans women wear mini skirts before 😅 like why can’t they wear more fashionable clothing? Why do we all dress like hot topic 2010 girls… I think a part of me wanted to wear one but was afraid of how I would look in one so I judged those who had the courage to.
When I started my transition I was too afraid to get a mini skirt until I had to buy a cheap one for a dance class.
Jump to now and I just find that a mini skirt does something for the spirit. That sounds silly but it’s just so much the right amount of playfulness and femininity that you never got to experience as a amab child. Is it the adult version of getting to wear a tutu as a little girl? Maybe. Does it make your heart sing in multicolor? Definitely. Fashion is about chasing gender euphoria and if wearing a micro piece of fabric makes someone happy what does anything else matter?
Of course you don’t have to wear mini skirts if your trans, not all women wear skirts, but life is too short not to if you want to.
