RAWatching this back, I realised I gave no useful information whatsoever 🙃 I was just mumbling and smiling because I was way too… not saying “excited” because I say that every five seconds but thrilled to finally have some Georgian takeaway.
So here’s the breakdown I should’ve given:
Khinkali – giant dumplings filled with either minced meat or mushrooms. There’s a technique: you bite, sip the broth, then eat. No fork!
Khachapuri – a buttery, gooey cheese pie that could honestly fix your mood
Lobiani – kind of like khachapuri’s cousin. Same bread, but filled with beans instead of cheese.
And Kada – is this sweet, buttery pastry that’s filled with a nutty mixture and just melts in your mouth
