ANhow i weathered the textiles on my yura costume from elden ring! the cape will get the same treatment, im just saving it for last ⚔️
the order:
> for some fabrics, i ball them up before dropping them in the dye pot, which gives them a nice pre-distressed look
> go in with open face fabric scissors and shred any edges
> use a grill lighter for some edges
> mix acrylic ink with water for most of the main weathering
> go in with acrylics/fabric paint for drybrushing
> go back with acrylic ink/bleach applied with a splatter brush
