FIND BAD WEBSITES Google: “plumbers near me” Found 20 businesses with slow, ugly websites. 3. SEND FREE AUDIT Email: “Hi [Name], your site loads in 6.2 seconds. Made a quick video showing what’s slowing it down. [Loom link]” 5 out of 20 replied. 4. LOOM = YOUR PORTFOLIO Show their problems. Explain how it costs them customers. Don’t pitch. Educate. 2 asked “Can you fix this?” 5. START CHEAP, RAISE FAST Client 1: ₹20K Client 3: ₹25K Client 5: ₹30K Client 7: ₹50K Pro Tip: You should pick a niche and at least make a portfolio which you can host on netlify/vercel. 2-3 projects are enough and I had this when I was reaching out to people. Here’s every job I had before ever touching a pair of decks: 1️⃣ Waitress 2️⃣ Luxury Brand Sales Associate 3️⃣ Executive Assistant (Media & Publishing) 4️⃣ Artist Management Assistant (Pop Music) 5️⃣ Writing Tutor 6️⃣ Front-End Web Developer 7️⃣ Product Manager I tried everything except being an artist, partly because my parents didn’t approve at first (they’re Korean, traditional)… and partly because I didn’t believe I could. But every pivot, every reinvention, every “normal job” showed me I was capable of more than I realized. And that’s exactly the mindset that gave me the audacity to pursue DJing at age 30.
