ERI feel like we have figured out the formula for floorplans that work best for design, food service and most of all guest experience.
Here is the recipe
1️⃣ The biggest piece, mixing round and rectangular tables. This makes seating your groups of guests so much easier when you have options. Also, you can do different designs on different tables. Different centerpieces, cutlery, glassware, chargers... you choose. Even different chairs like this one! You don't want everything to be the same across the whole room. That's giving prom vibes.
2️⃣ Leaving enough space between the tables. You want guests to be able to pull their chairs out and servers to fit by. I know that's not very sexy but it's often forgotten
3️⃣ A massive dance floor with at a minimum a white vinyl (no parquet dance floors!) Or like this one, a fun print. No 15x15 dance floors unless you're having a tiny wedding. Make a statement, it's a massive piece of real estate in your room
4️⃣ Bars in the room and photo booth too! Keep the party contained
5️⃣ DJ close to your dance floor (or even raised like we did here). Talk about bringing up the HYPE.
