Quick & easy Word Bearers 📖 🔥 So I’ve recently been reading the Chaos Space Marine codex again and I couldn’t help but have a look at Word Bearers and it got me into a bit of a deep dive with the lore… So naturally i had to try and attempt to paint some Word Bearers! Here all I did was dry brush silver over a black primer and painted over a 50/50 mix of Slaughter Red and Purple Swarm (both from the army painter, thank you @hobbyistprinter) Really quick and easy and just time to finish off the details! This dude is a mix of a lot of kits, as the head comes and clawed arm comes from the kill team legionaries kit, the body from the Khorne berserkers kit, the other arm is an old CSM one, the backpack from the lord on juggernaut ! And I've also picked out his glowing runes, as is the standard of my Word Bearers scheme. A Word Bearers Custom Service Daemon Prince which has been converted and hand sculpted by our Custom Service team! This imposing monster of a Chaos Space character has Colchisian runes engraved across his warped power armour and mutated detail like his wings and armoured claw. The malevolent Daemon sword was a really nice detail to add and gave a final evil finish to the piece! Having a detailed and intricate urban base really sets the piece and will give a good contrast once painted to the rich crimson armour he will have!
