REThis generation is passionate for the Lord! They truly live in community with one another; I never saw a student standing alone in a corner. When one was alone, another would reach out, gesturing to join the group. They delighted in the Lord and had the opportunity to abide in Jesus without distractions. They enjoyed the fun and games, but the real joy shone through in worship. I watched them soak in the lessons like sponges, eager to hear more and excited about what they were learning. If you are a leader, take a moment to observe your students during lessons; it’s wonderful to see their reactions when they relate to what the speaker is saying. Lord Jesus, thank you for trusting me with the next generation, your treasures. It's the greatest honor. The directors, leaders, speaker, worship and program team gave their all this weekend, and the fruit was clearly evident in the students. Wow! Glory to God! Praise Jesus! REToday I had the privilege of joining @wellytheheli @drigg.yfc on the final final push of their amazing challenge they did to raise money for the VITAL @gnairambulance 💚
The buzz was something else tbh and it was an honour to get to witness such energy and so many incredible people come together to make it happen!!!
Drigg YFC literally turned a car into a helicopter. A full epic conversion. They trained for months and months. So much organisation went into this even just for the logistical side.
77 miles, from Drigg to Langwathby! And they pushed this heli there in TWO days. The team work was something to be admired.
What they have raised already is absolutely unreal, I can’t tell you the total figure yet because I don’t want to get it wrong. But also, ITS NOT TO LATE TO DONATE. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it 34782724 times, @gnairambulance is VITAL to our rural communities. I don’t think there’s anyone who hasn’t got some connection to the incredible work they doing saving lives. They don’t receive any government funding at all so they need amazing people like this doing crazy challenges, and amazing people like you to donate to make sure they can continue to do what they do best.
So amazing to see the local community out in force to support as well as @cumbriacops @cumbriafire @itvborder and so many more! 💚❤️
