BAND-ASSISTED AB ROLLOUTS 🔥 Ab rollouts are an advanced core exercise that you may not be able to execute right away. These kneeling, band-assisted ab rollouts are a great modification so you can still train the movement pattern safely and effectively. How to: 1️⃣ Attach a long resistance band to a sturdy support (rack, heavy equipment, pole, etc.).�2️⃣ Thread the band between the handles of the ab wheel.�3️⃣ Kneel at a comfortable distance from the anchor.�4️⃣ Slowly roll out, keeping arms straight and ribs down. Go as far as you can without losing a flat back.�5️⃣ Pull back in with control. Don’t tuck your hips — keep your spine neutral. Benefits of this movement: - Improves anti-extension strength (teaches your core to resist arching) - Improves overall core stability - Supports better posture, running, and lifting strength The band reduces load at your weakest point so you can build strength through full range. It might feel intense, but you’re relying on speed (not strength) to get through the movement. Now compare that to controlled ball crunches 👇 With your back supported on the ball, you: • Increase the range of motion which increases the challenge on the abdominals as you lift against gravity • Keep constant tension on the abs • Limit excessive lumbar flexion • Build actual control (not just reps) The ball isn’t there to bounce you. It’s there to support you, so you can move slower, deeper, and with more intention. Slow it down and feel the difference 🔥

Wheel exercises are based on a dynamic rolling movement forward and returning to the starting position. To begin the exercise, kneel on the mat and grasp the ring with both hands, positioning it shoulder-width apart. Make sure your back is straight and your abdominal muscles are engaged to help maintain stability. Slowly roll the ring forward, stretching your body but avoiding excessive arching of your lower back. Then, with the same control, return to the starting position, engaging your abdominal muscles to complete the movement. Avoid sudden movements. Remember to breathe as with any strength training exercise. 🏃‍♀️ ⚡️💪 Start with shorter ranges of motion. Perform four sets of 8 repetitions.
