THBecoming an (ACCA) Affiliate is a huge achievement. But many students are confused about what actually comes after passing all the exams.
Here’s what the journey looks like next 👇
1️⃣ You Become an ACCA Affiliate
Once you pass all 13 ACCA exams, you officially become an ACCA Affiliate. This means you have completed the academic part of the qualification.
But you’re not yet a full ACCA member.
2️⃣ Complete Your PER (Practical Experience Requirement)
To become a full member, you must complete 36 months of relevant work experience in accounting, audit, finance, or related roles.
This experience helps you apply the knowledge you learned in exams to real business situations.
3️⃣ Achieve the Performance Objectives
Along with work experience, you also need to complete performance objectives approved by a qualified supervisor/mentor.
These prove that you can apply professional skills in real work environments.
4️⃣ Apply for ACCA Membership
Once your PER is completed, you can apply for full membership of **Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
This is when you can officially call yourself a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA Member).
5️⃣ Continue Your Professional Growth
After becoming a member, your journey still continues:
• Career growth in audit, finance, consulting, or corporate roles
• Continuous professional development (CPD)
• Leadership opportunities in finance and business
