AFCelebrating a milestone in weather services!
The Air Force Weather Center led by Colonel Alvin John Q Gador PAF (GSC) celebrates its 1st Founding Anniversary with the theme:
AFWC@1: “Revitalizing Meteorological Services through Accurate Forecast with Mission-Oriented, Capability-Driven, and Values-Based Weather Center” with Major General Jose Bonifacio F Calub PAF, the Air Force Inspector General, as the Guset of Honor and Speaker.
During the celebration, Colonel Gador highlighted the unit’s accomplishments over the past year, showcasing AFWC’s commitment to operational excellence.
Outstanding personnel and departments were also recognized:
Climatology and Weather Forecasting Department – Department of the Year
1LT Armando P Gonzales III PAF – Officer of the Year
TSg Bryan Benedict B Arcilla PAF – Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year
Sgt Rosemarie E Delos Reyes PAF – Airman of the Year
Ms. Maribel C. Santos (CivHR) – Civilian Human Resource of the Year
The activity also recognized unit stakeholders, PAF units, and partner agencies for their continued support and collaboration through the awarding of plaques of appreciation.
This meaningful occasion marks a year of innovation, achievements, and excellence in delivering accurate and reliable weather support for mission success.
