Her temple was located in the city of Ta'if. At that time, people believed she brought blessings to their crops. Al-Uzza: She was the goddess of power and strength. People prayed to her for victory in battles. Her temple was near Mecca, and she was especially revered by the Quraysh tribe for their protection. Manat: She was the goddess of fate and death. People believed that she controlled matters of life and death. Her temple was situated in Qudayd, between Mecca and Medina . When Islam came, the worship of these goddesses was abolished, and people were commanded to worship Allah alone.
