BIThe epitome of French taste.
Arny’s was a legendary shop on the left bank of the Seine in Paris. You can name drop artist, politics and celebrities that were clients for hours.
The Arnys style was highly distinctive, with colour combinations and fanciful patterns that were instantly recognisable. Of course the were known for the Forestière, that jacket design for the architect LeCorbusier, inspired by hunting jacket from Sologne.
But Arny’s was much more than this, It was fine tailoring, bold designs, and meticulous attention to detail, especially when it came to accessories.

Ini style Jepang era 1950–60an yang terinspirasi dari budaya Amerika pasca perang dunia ke-2. Masuknya budaya Amerika bikin anak muda Jepang jatuh cinta sama jeans, leather, dan workwear. Dari sinilah lahir Amekaji—American Casual versi Jepang. Terlihat rebel, maskulin, tapi super detail dan niat.
Lanjut ke Ametora alias American Traditional!
Ini lebih ke Ivy League style kayak blazer, oxford shirt, dan loafers diadaptasi Jepang. Datangnya dari majalah dan buku fashion Amerika tahun 60–70an.
Hasilnya? Preppy, rapi, timeless—dan jadi fondasi banyak brand Jepang sampai sekarang.
