Ela é uma cantora, compositora e estilista inglesa, mais conhecida por ser a vocalista da banda Swing Out Sister.
Swing Out Sister, embora seja um duo composto por Corinne Drewery e Andy Connell, foi formado inicialmente como um trio – tendo Martin Jackson como baterista.
Os britânicos deram início ao grupo nos 1980. O título foi pensado no filme “Swing Out, Sister”, de 1945.
Seu primeiro single de sucesso foi Breakout, que está presente no álbum It's Better to Travel, de 1987 e foi tema da novela Sassaricando. Também está neste álbum a faixa Fooled By A Smile (número 43 nas paradas da Inglaterra).
Em 1992, a dupla liberou Get in Touch with Yourself – terceiro álbum de estúdio.
O material marcou por seu ritmo dançante e influências do jazz, pop, soul e funk.
O hit “Am I The Same Girl” foi sucesso no global.

Andy Connell, one of our optoms, did 44 miles along the West Highland Way on Saturday to raise funds for ‘Sight Saving surgery’
It was a great day, with good people in spectacular surroundings and an amazing achievement by all involved
To this point £8141 has been raised towards funding sight saving surgery
The funds raised will be used to provide eye surgery to those in dire need but who would otherwise not be eligible for free surgery. The money will be used to cover the concrete costs of cataract surgery. The surgeons and clinical support team will provide their time free of charge
