KOI unfortunately dislocated my left ankle two days before competition, I did still compete, in the beginner category and came in 7th overall!!💯👍🏼
This is the first Intermediate Boulder from the competition, (this is the category that @trickflies.ca competed in and placed 6th overall) - the dynamic move at the end is not my style of climbing and I thought I would try this more statically. But when I was on the wall and contemplating how far the jump was and how far the fall was, I made the decision to just go for it!💪🏼💯
Glad I did! Once I made the jump and held onto the end hold and swung around the wall, woohoo I tell ya that's exhilarating! I'll be trying more dynamic movements from now on!💯👍🏼
Now to let the ankle finish recovering! 😂😜
Craig and I climbed and competed at the same time so we don't have actual footage of us in the competition, but damn was it fun! 💪🏼💯☺️
