New milestone. I hit 3 months post op, 75 lbs down and back in the 200s club. Thank you for the incredible support on my journey to a healthier me. At this point, here are some things that have changed for me. - eating regular foods just focusing on protein first - i need to wait 30 min in between eating and drinking - my sleep schedule had sucked bc I have new found energy - i feel a lot healthier 75lbs down - I’ve regulated my blood pressure - i still use my apap machine at night until pulmonologist takes me off of it -I’m losing my hair - I’m fitting into jeans that I had bought but didn’t fit - I’m working out and notice more energy and strength - meeting my protein and water goals mostly every day -taking my meds as described

We are Home from Starship Hospital & baby girl is settling in with her new APAP machine, which helps to keep her airways open during the night so she breathes better and doesn’t need to self-medicate during her sleep 🥹 Both of my girls have been extremely self-conscious with their bodies this past year! Haylah getting teased about always having a runny nose, heavy breathing, her skin flaring up, always dependent on medication etc Myanna with her leg after the motorbike accident, 8 surgeries, drop foot, teased for wearing an ankle brace and being on home D 🤦🏻‍♀️ now in a cast for 16 weeks, not to mention her scarring, skin grafts etc. So much for two very beautiful girls to go thru at such young ages, 9 & 13 😭 As a Mama it’s been hard to navigate this path, not just medically, but also ensuring them that they are BEAUTIFUL, BRAVE, STRONG, RESILIENT and that we NEVER GIVE UP! 👊🏻 As long as they know their WORTH and that they are LOVED, that’s all that matters! Please always teach your children to be kind, so that children like mine and children even worse off then mine, are never embarrassed to be seen 🥰
