The easiest most foolproof artisan bread✨ . I discovered this method from @merryboosters years ago and it has been my go-to ever since 🙏🏼❤️ . ▪️390g (or ~3 Cups) Artisan Bread Flour or All Purpose Flour▪️2 tsp Sugar▪️1+1/2 tsp Salt▪️3/4 tsp Instant or Active Dried Yeast▪️300ml (1+1/4 Cups) Water▪️Butter, for serving▪️ . 1️⃣ In a large bowl mix together the flour, salt, sugar and yeast 2️⃣ Add some lukewarm water (~95°F) and mix everything together to form a shaggy mass of dough 3️⃣ Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let sit and rise in a warm environment for about 2 hours 4️⃣ After 2 hours, preheat the oven to 450°F with a Dutch oven inside (so the Dutch oven gets preheated as well) 5️⃣ Transfer the dough on to a floured work surface (the dough will be sticky so dust it with some flour whenever needed); knead the dough (fold it on to itself, turn, and repeat) for 2-3 mins until a tensive dough ball forms 6️⃣ Transfer to a proofing basket or parchment lined bowl, cover and let rise for 35 mins or until the dough doubles in size 7️⃣ Place the dough ball in the preheated Dutch oven lined with parchment and bake at 450°F for 30 minutes; reduce the oven temperature to 400°F, remove the lid, and bake for another 10-15 more minutes (at this point the longer you bake the bread the crispier the crust will be.. just make sure the bottom doesn't burn) - enjoy with salted butter! . Note: If you are making bread on a regular baking tray instead of a Dutch oven, steam is the key factor for making crusty bread. Place a pan with hot water in the lowest rack of oven while baking and spraying with water inside the oven during the initial five minutes of baking to help create this steamy environment inside the oven. . ⏲ 10 minute prep time + 2 hour 35 minute rise time + 40 minute cook time

I am going to go ahead and call this one a WILD CRUMB! Yes, she’s a little under-fermented based on some of the denser areas, but she does look a bit wild also! She is open, rustic and full of character! Dutch Oven No Knead Artisan Bread! INGREDIENTS * 3 cups unbleached all purpose flour * 1 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt * 1 teaspoon instant yeast (I use Saf) * 1 1/2 cups water (+ 1-3 extra teaspoons if too dry) DIRECTIONS >Make the dough the night before you plan on cooking bread. Measure dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl Lightly whisk together with a fork or a whisk. Add water and mix with fork, spatula, or danish dough hook until a shaggy mixture appears. Use spatula to flip over a few times. Dough will be wet, sticky, and shaggy. (add a couple extra teaspoons of water if needed). #Cover bowl tightly with saran wrap, and set aside for 8 to 18 hours. > When ready to cook, preheat oven to 450° with Dutch oven inside. This preheats the Dutch oven as well. 30-40 minutes. > While the oven and Dutch oven are preheating, lightly flour work surface, and scrape dough out of bowl onto the surface with a spatula. Pull edges to the center making a ball, and then flip the ball over. Don’t do too much work here, you don’t want to deflate the wonderful bubbles in the dough! Gently tuck under edges and shape into a ball. Transfer ball to a piece of parchment paper ( you don’t have to use parchment paper I also have placed dough directly in Dutch oven when cooking). Sprinkle a pinch of flour over the top of dough and cover lightly with a piece of saran wrap. Dough will raise for about 30-35 minutes while oven is preheating. > Remove hot pot from oven and place the parchment paper with the dough in the Dutch oven (or just the dough if you are not using parchment paper). Put lid on top and bake for 25 minutes. Open oven and remove lid and bake for another 10-15 minutes until top is a beautiful golden, crusty brown color. > Remove from oven and place dough on cooling rack. Let cool for a while, but I like to eat it slightly warm with butter and jam! So good! ENJOY!!! #bread #nokneadbread #dutchovenbread #foodie #fyp #delicious #baking #artisanbread #fouringredientbread

Reposting this oldie but goodie 🩷 What you’ll need: Large mixing bowl 1 x Dutch oven / large oven dish with lid. Parchment paper Bowl of lukewarm water for fingers Kitchen scissors 650g Bread Flour 7g instant yeast 1/2 Tbs salt 450g lukewarm water Add the ingredients in the order listed and mix with a spoon, finish off the mixing using your fingertips (if you find it too sticky to handle wet them) as shown in the reel with a few folds upwards at the end to create a round shape. Cover and rest 30min After 30 min wet your hand in some water and stretch and fold 4 times as shown in reel. Cover another 30 min After 30 min repeat with another 4 stretch and fold and cover and rest for 1 hour After 1 hour flour the top of dough and the parchment paper and tip the dough out. Pat the top of bowl and be patient it will come out Food the dough inwards to create a round shape about 20 times, flip over and tuck in all sides to help it into a tight round shape. Cover for 30 min with a tea towel. Turn your oven to 250C and put your Dutch oven in to heat up. After 30min uncover bread and score, I use kitchen scissors as shown in reel,(if you’re using kitchen scissors be sure to hold the almost horizontally not vertically as you want the cuts to cut into the side of the loaf not the top or it won’t open) take it out your Dutch oven (be sure to use oven gloves) place the bread inside with the paper cover with lid and bake for 30 min. After 30 min take off lid (with gloves) turn oven to 230C and bake for another 15 min. Leave on a cooling rack to cook for at least 45 min, if you can 😉 Enjoy D 🫶 #bread #artisanbread #loaf
