VOHere are 5 things you HAVE to do in Aswan, Egypt 😍⬇️
We visited Aswan as the final stop of our Nile cruise with @lefayansuites (all details in my Egypt Story Highlight) & ended up staying a bit longer as there’s so much to see ☺️
🏝️ Philae Temple - the temple on an island in the Nile - is 100% worth it (go either early or late, as it gets busy)
🌈 Take a boat over to a Nubian village - super colorful with countless photo opportunities & markest to show souvenirs
⛵️ A Felucca (traditional sailboat) ride on the Nile during sunset is a MUST. It’s simple but honestly one of the best moments. Make sure to book a private tour or in a small group for the best experience 😊
🧱 The unfinished obelisk is quick but interesting if you’re nearby - it gives you an idea of the ancient Egyptian craftsmanship
😍 If you have the time go to Abu Simbel… my favorite temple in Egypt! it’s far, but it’s one of those places you won’t forget (you can either take 3-4 hrs drive or a short 30 mins flight - check my Abu Simbel Reel for all details)
📍Spend a night or two at the Old Cataract Hotel - it has the best view & a long history. My favorite hotel in Egypt ☺️
Aswan was one of those places I didn’t expect to love this much… but it ended up being one of my favorites in Egypt 🤍
