يُعدّ المحرك غير المتزامن من أكثر المحركات الكهربائية استعمالًا في المجال الصناعي، نظرًا لبساطته، متانته، وتكلفته المناسبة.
📌 ما معنى "غير متزامن"؟
سُمّي بهذا الاسم لأن سرعة دوران العضو الدوّار لا تساوي السرعة المتزامنة للمجال المغناطيسي الناتج عن التيار المتردد، بل تكون أقل منها بقليل، وهو ما يُعرف بالانزلاق (Slip).
