One thing I’ve been working on mentally this year is to stop saying “only” when referring to the weights I hit. “I only hit 84 on my clean & jerk” or “I only back squatted 200lbs” I think every athlete I’ve ever met says “only” - unless it’s a PR lmao. Your body is untested. Show up. Do the work. Keep adding weight to the bar. And let’s just see what you can lift five years from now!
