Microblading can lead to: - Allergic reactions - Infection - Nerve damage - Scarring (including keloids) - Pigment migration How can you protect yourself from adverse outcomes? 1. It's important to consult your primary care provider (PCP) about microblading prior to receiving the service, especially if you have sensitive skin or allergies. 2. If you feel that microblading is safe for you, after a discussion with your PCP, be very selective with where you go for your treatment. Consider a microblading specialist who also works in a medical aesthetics practice with physician oversight, for example.
