Some people still think he died in the scene he’s describing in the interview, but he was shot during the apartment scene with Funboy (played by Michael Massee). The incident deeply affected Massee, who was devastated by the tragedy and took a year-long break from acting to process the event. The newscast claims he was hit with a .44 caliber bullet, but it was a fragment from a dummy bullet🖤 In the final interview, Brandon quoted a passage from Paul Bowles’ book “The Sheltering Sky”, which he had chosen for his wedding invitations and is now inscribed on his tombstone. #thecrow #brandonlee #90s #nostalgia

During a scene, a prop gun that was supposed to fire blanks accidentally discharged a lodged fragment from a previous dummy round, striking him in the abdomen. He was rushed to hospital but died hours later at just 28 years old. The film was completed using stand-ins and early CGI, and was later dedicated to him.
