✨️Carrot cake✨️ This is is my go-to carrotcake recipe and it never fails. This carrot cake is paired with spices, caramelized white chocolate and lime. Lime zest goes into the caramelized white chocolate creamcheese frosting and the cake is spiced with cinnamon. And it's not only delicious during the colder months but I actually love it during spring with a lemon curd or even a passionfruit curd. Voor Carrotcake: -280 ml sunflower oil -50 gr oliveoil -300 gr sugar -100 gr brown sugar -6 eggs -70 gr chopped walnuts (I used a mix of pecan, walnut and hazelnut) - 250 gr flour - 10 gr baking powder - 10 gr cinnamon - 5 gr baking soda - 300 gr shredded carrot -Mix the eggs with sugars and add the oils. -Stir in the carrot and chopped nuts. -Add all the dry ingredients and pour in a greased bunt cake tin. -Bake at 160 degrees voor 30 min till it's dry inside (do a skewer test if you're not sure) Caramelized white chocolate creamcheese frosting: -400 gr creamcheese -120 gr caramelized white chocolate -Zest of half a lime -Mix the creamcheese and zest till smooth. Add the melted caramelized white chocolate (make sure its not too hot!) And mix until smooth. BABOVKA CAKE 3 eggs, room temperature 200g granulated sugar 200g all-purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 200g plain Greek yogurt 120ml sunflower oil 1 tsp vanilla extract 3 tbsps dark powdered cocoa unsweetened 2 tbsp milk (we used oat) 100g chocolate chips 1 ripe banana Icing sugar for decorating Grease the inside of a bunt cake mould with butter and dust with flour - this will help you remove the cake later without breakage. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Crack the eggs in a large bowl. Beat them with an electric mixer, slowly at first, then increase the speed. Slowly add the sugar and after five minutes, you should get a light, fluffy mixture. In a bowl, add the flour and baking powder and stir. Reduce the mixer speed to the minimum, then gradually add the flour mixture followed by the sunflower oil, vanilla extract and Greek yogurt. Mash a banana and add; pour in the chocolate chips. Mix till fully combined. Pour just under half the mixture into another bowl, add the cocoa and milk (to keep the batter from thickening). Stir through. Pour half of the light batter into the mould, then cover with all of the cocoa cake batter. Finish with a layer of the remaining light cake batter. Bake the cake for 45-60 mins, testing with a skewer to check if it’s done. Dust with a sprinkling of icing sugar to decorate and allow to sit for around an hour before enjoying. #czechbaking #czechcake #buntcake #marblecake #newepisode

Marble Cake: Marble cake has been a staple of my life forever. My grandmother always made it. And when it became to difficult she would buy. It’s the classic Hungarian shabbos cake and I have such fond memories of sitting around sharing a piece with my grandmother. For the cake part: 1 cup oil 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 cup orange juice* see note 2 tsp lemon juice 3 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder •in a bowl add all the ingredients. Mix well and put into a well oiled Bundt pan. Set aside. the chocolate part 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/4 cup Confectionery sugar 1/4 cup white sugar 4-6T oil (see note*) •Mix the cocoa and sugars. Slowly add oil. Depending on the dryness of the cocoa keep adding oil until you get a wet cement consistency. •drop the chocolate part in clumps into the cake and swirl in. It doesn’t matter if it seems chunky. •bake 350 for 40-50 min or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Wait until completely cooled before taking it out of the pan. I don’t always do the icing. Shockingly my kids don’t love it. For the icing: 2 cups confectionery sugar 2 heaping Tbsp cocoa 1 Tbsp oil 1 tsp coffee liqueur or vanilla extract Approx 3Tbsp hot water** Note. I sometimes make the cake with parve milk (such as almond milk) I prefer orange juice as I love the citrusy flavor it adds to the cake. ** depending on the dryness of your sugar and cocoa slowly add the hot water until you get desired consistency. Triple Marble Bundt Cake Ingredients: 420g flour 4 tsp baking powder 170g room temperature unsalted butter 110g oil 360g sugar 3 eggs + 2 egg whites 1 tbsp vanilla 340g buttermilk 2 tbsp cocoa powder 2 tbsp cocoa powder + 1 espresso shot Instructions * Preheat the oven to 350°F / 175°C.
 * Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
 * Beat together the butter, oil, and sugar for 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
 * Add in one egg at a time. Add in the vanilla with the last egg. * Alternate between adding the flour mixture and the buttermilk. * Remove 1 cup batter to 2 separate bowls. Add the cocoa to 1 bowl and the cocoa with the espresso to the other bowl. 
 * Add the batter to a greased bundt pan and use a knife to swirl it around.

Zdravija verzija čokoladnog kuglofa 🍫🍊 Potrebno: Suvi sastojci: 200 g mlevenih lešnika 40 g kakaa u prahu 1 kesica Dr. Oetker High Protein pudinga od čokolade 1 kašičica praška za pecivo prstohvat soli Mokri sastojci: 4 jaja M veličine (sobne temperature) 130 ml biljnog ili običnog mleka 2–3 kašike sveže ceđenog soka od pomorandže 60 ml maslinovog ili otopljenog kokosovog ulja 1 kesica Sweet Zero vanilin zaslađivača 1 kašičica ekstrakta vanilije rendana korica 1 pomorandže ½ kašičice instant kafe (opciono, ako volite gorči ukus kolača) Čokoladni preliv: 100 g Dr. Oetker crne čokolade 2 kašičice kokosovog ulja malo rendane korice pomorandže Dekor: krupno seckani pečeni lešnici voće Priprema: 1.Zagrej rernu na 170 °C. Kalup premaži tankim slojem ulja ili putera i pospi kakaom. 2.U jednoj posudi pomešaj suve sastojke: mlevene lešnike, kakao, puding u prahu, prašak za pecivo i so. 3.U drugoj posudi žicom sjedini jaja, mleko, sok i koricu pomorandže, ulje, Sweet Zero vanilin, vaniliju i (po želji) instant kafu, dok ne dobiješ glatku smesu. 4.Spoji mokre i suve sastojke i kratko mešaj, samo dok se sve ne poveže. 5.Izlij smesu u pripremljeni kalup i peci oko 40 minuta. Kolač je gotov kada čačkalica ubodena u sredinu izađe čista ili sa tek malo vlage. 6.Ostavi kolač da se hladi 15–20 minuta, zatim ga pažljivo izvadi iz kalupa i potpuno ohladi. 7.Otopi čokoladu i kokosovo ulje, prelij preko kolača i pospi krupno seckanim lešnicima.
