I check-raised top pair, top kicker **on a T high flop**—Most people are terrified 😱 to check-raise top pair top kicker on the flop, scared of going broke **vs overpairs**…but it's important to not thinkg about how many big blinds it is, and instead think about the stack to pot ratio... in this spot, the stack-to-pot ratio was only about 3.3 which means there is already A LOT in the middle relative to the chips we have back. Don't let fear of busting out hold you back from making the **optimal play....when you have an edge in the hand, you want to maximize the pot, get protectoin and get the chips in... even if it means once in a while you run into a better hand or get sucked out on** Watch how this one played out against Gal Yifrach at WPT Choctaw…
