MImy FIRST EVER CATWALK (& I was SO AWKWARD hahahah) - but posting this because i want you guys to know that I wasn’t low key terrified - I was high key terrified!!!!! (taking me some guts to post this rn)
but you know what? I did it anyway - and I’m here to tell the tale (and I also got SO MANY DM’s of support (and laughs haha) - I LOVE YOU ALL)
granted I totally forgot how to walk, had literally NO IDEA how to pose at the end, and felt like I was totally embarrassing myself
BUT we all had the BEST time & we ALL did the clothes proud!!!
it just made me think, because I get this question a lot when it comes to posting, how to get over that feeling of everyone judging you and get the confidence to press that “post” button
in reality - nobody ACTUALLY cares - life is supposed to be fun - people WANT you to do well, and posting a silly little video online of something that means something to you, or something you’re proud of, no matter what other people say, isn’t going to ruin your life - if anything, it might just change it - so just go for it (not saying I’m going to become a catwalk model any time soon hahahaha - but it’s super cool a golf event showcased its latest outfits with a catwalk!)

This exercise promotes good posture.
From my rehearsals in London, I learned that walking as a beauty queen differs from a catwalk model, which is important to remember.
Effective catwalking involves following specific guidelines. Maintain good posture by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and keeping your knees unlocked. Your face should be relaxed, with your lips slightly parted. Let your arms hang naturally by your sides, moving in sync with your stride. For high fashion, push your hips forward and pull your shoulders back.
Confidence in high heels is essential. Keep your knees slightly bent and legs straight.
Walk naturally with your legs close together, toes pointed forward, following an imaginary line without crossing or spreading your feet too far apart. Maintain a steady pace.
Ensure your body movement is fluid, with a relaxed arm swing and gentle hip sway to enhance visual appeal. Regular practice builds confidence and improves your walk.With dedication and effort, you will see progress. MB👑

Madness. Absolute madness.
First of all - we’re artists. We express ourselves in so many ways, and that includes what we choose to wear.
Secondly - what we wear has zero impact on the quality of our hair or makeup work. NONE.
I love fashion. I love dressing up. But I’ll be damned if I’m going to feel pressured to show up looking like a catwalk model for every single wedding I work.
