UNFrom better-lit streets and safer parks to tackling underage vaping and smoking, the #Kuching South Child Council spoke up about what matters most for children in their city🏡. Their ideas, will now feed into the city’s #CFCI Plan of Action, helping shape a more child friendly Kuching. A similar exercise was carried out with six other Child Councils across Kuching North, Padawan, Miri, Kota Samarahan, Sibu and Bintulu!

#兒童友善城市倡議 (CFCI) 是聯合國兒童基金會所發起，將《兒童權利公約》所提倡 #兒童權利 在日常生活中實踐。繼上次去完韓國之後，今次#青年使者 來到了深圳考察。透過兩地兒童討論環節入面，兒童認為人與自然的友好相處、安全和平的成長環境、尊重和聆聽兒童建議，有助於讓兒童在友好歡樂的環境中健康快樂成長。
【📣📣Where did the UNICEF #YoungEnvoys go this time? 】
The Child Friendly Cities Initiative (CFCI) is a UNICEF-led initiative in realizing rights of children in daily life using the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child as its foundation. After visiting Korea last time, Young Envoys now have the opportunity to visit Shenzhen as well. During the interaction between children from Shenzhen and Hong Kong, children expressed the importance of co-existing harmoniously with the environment, having the opportunity for children’s voices to be heard and respecting children’s opinions may help better children’s environment for future development.
