Heres a track im working on inspired by Thunderforce 3! This game has an absolutely AMAZING soundtrack. I call this one “Rumbling Thunder”. Extras: BGB (Game Boy emulator) to run LSDj and record the chiptune, and Audacity to trim the recording and tweak the volume. Song: Just a message sung to an improvised melody 🎶

Ill never forget when my uncle bought “Super Mario All Stars” for me and my brother when we were kids. I was enamored with Super Mario Bros 2 in particular because it allowed players to choose 3 other playable characters besides mario who all had unique abilities. The enemies and level design were also very unique and ambitious for its time. And of course the music. Para firmar esa hazaña, crearon las "Cracktros": intros con música chiptune y gráficos que funcionaban como un graffiti. Cuando llegaron los Keygens, esos programas piratas que generan claves, la música chiptune se mantuvo como un símbolo de identidad tribal, convirtiéndose en la banda sonora icónica de la piratería digital.
