Homemade Body Butter recipe 🌱 🍯 this recipe is sensitive skin friendly, very moisturizing, and smells amazing. The best part is you can customize it to your liking! 🤗 Equipment: - double boiler (large glass bowl, pot that can fit an inch of water) - Flat spatula - 4 - 8 oz glass jars (amber in color to make the body butter last longer) - Hand beater to whipping body butter or stand mixer with whisk attachment Ingredients: You can purchase everything in a local health food store or online - 8 oz unsweetened cacao wafers or cocoa butter (keep in mind this scent is strong and may overpower the overall smell of your body butter. You can adjust the amount of cacao wafers, or increase the amount of the other ingredients which are milder in smell) - 16 oz RAW African shea butter (white in color) - 8 oz mango butter, unscented * - 4 oz sweet almond oil (try jojoba oil if allergic) - 2 teaspoons of arrow root powder (helps with greasiness, and creating a silkier and smoother body butter) - RATIO: 1 teaspoon arrow root powder for every 1 POUND of body butter - Scented perfume or essential oils of your choice— use as much or as little as you like, I don’t usually measure this.

Chocolate Chip Recipe ⬇️ Sharing my top reels of the year! Recipe below, but comment CHIP and I’ll send it over! Is anyone else tired of spending so much on store-bought chocolate? Finding clean chocolate especially without refined sugars can cost $6-$9 per bar/ bag or more. Why not try making your own at home? It’s an easy, affordable swap that lets you control the ingredients going into your food. Plus, it’s a fun activity & your kids will love helping out! Homemade Chip Recipe: Ingredients: -2/3 cup cacao or cocoa powder (unsweetened) -1/3 cup honey  -1/2 cup cacao butter or coconut oil  (melted) -Gently melt the cacao butter until fully liquid. Do not overheat.  -In a mixing bowl, add cacao butter,  honey, and cocoa powder gradually, whisking continuously to prevent lumps. -Pour the chocolate mixture into the mold and spread evenly. -Refrigerate 2-3 hours or freeze for 30–45 minutes until fully set. -Once hardened, remove the chocolate from the mold - Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer. Using coconut oil vs cocoa butter: Cacao butter has a higher melting point (93°F to 100°F) compared to coconut oil (~76°F). This means your chocolate bars will stay solid at room temperature and won’t melt as easily. Both ways still work! Coconut oil can be cheaper and easier to grab from any store! Treat yourself to some Matcha Truffles (except you actually have to make them yourself) 🙂‍↕️ Ingredients: Matcha Ganache 🍫 170g white chocolate couverture 🧈 28g unsalted butter 🍦 45g heavy cream, cold 🍃 4g matcha Matcha Chocolate Coating 🍫 80g white chocolate couverture 🧈 80g cocoa butter 🍵 4g matcha 🍃 4g matcha, for dusting Directions: 1. Melt white chocolate and butter over a double boiler or in short microwave intervals. Mix to combine. 2. Add in the heavy cream and mix until fully incorporated. 3. Sift in the matcha and mix until smooth. 4. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the ganache. Refrigerate for 2 hours. 5. Scoop and roll the ganache into 12 balls (about 20g each). Place on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 15 minutes. 6. Melt equal parts white chocolate and cocoa butter together. Sift in the matcha and stir until smooth. 7. Dip each ball into the coating and then place them back to the tray. 8. Once the coating has set, roll or dust each ball in more matcha. 9. Serve chilled and enjoy!

No fancy ingredients🥰Just pour hot water over chocolate and watch it turn silky smooth🍫Sometimes the simplest hacks are the best 💫 Chocolate contains cocoa butter, cocoa solids, sugar and lecithin. When hot water is added to it, cocoa butter forms tiny fat droplets that emulsify the mixture and lecithin stabilises it. The science behind this technique was popularised by Heston Blumenthal. According to him, chocolate and water can actually work together if the ratio and mixing are correct. So, too little water and your chocolate seizes. And with the perfect amount of water, and you are left with a silky smooth ganache. Tips to remember 1. Use a good quality chocolate with around 60% - 70% cocoa because it contains the right balance of cocoa butter and solids to stabilise the emulsion. 2. You can use compound chocolate too. Make sure to chop it into tiny pieces for even melting and mixing. 3. Use hot water, not boiling. This helps the chocolate melt, dissolve and emulsify properly while keeping the mixture fluid while mixing. 4. Surface wrap the ganache with a plastic wrap to avoid a film forming on the surface. 5.
