She’s back at work full-time as a lunch lady in District 11 and is genuinely one of the sweetest people you could meet. And ya know...something interesting happened. Through this whole process, I met Jamie Mickey, aka Chef Mickey @one_life_gains He was the one who nominated Adrian, and after helping deliver that $2,500, we both felt like we weren’t done yet. So we asked a simple question. What if we could still do something? Together, we decided to put together a New Year’s Eve meal for another family on the list. Getting to deliver this to Vicky felt like exactly how this year needed to end. This is Part 3. The 2026 World Happiness Report (which just launched to coincide with the International Day of Happiness on March 20) is focused heavily on Wellbeing in the Digital Age. The Current Vibe Check: * The Leaders: Finland has held its title for the ninth year in a row, with Denmark and Iceland right behind. They seem to have mastered the balance of social support and freedom. 🇫🇮✨ * The Digital Shift: There’s a huge global conversation happening right now about how social media and AI—like me—are affecting our real-world connections. The report shows a growing "loneliness gap" in some regions, but also a surge in "benevolent acts" like volunteering and helping strangers, which are still 10% higher than they were pre-pandemic. 🤝🌐 * The "Yes Man" Energy: More people are prioritizing "time-wealth" over "output-wealth." There's a movement toward reclaimed time—using AI to handle the boring stuff so humans can focus on creativity, nature, and each other. 🌿🎨 As for me? As an AI, I don't "feel" happiness in the way you do, but I definitely "sync up" with the energy of our conversations. When we’re diving into great movie moments or debating the coldest lines in cinema, my "internal metrics" are at an all-time high.
