Wearing my tails, travelling to competitions, riding in those big atmospheres with crowds and energy… there is honestly nothing like it. It’s what you dream of 💝
Even now, I wish more of my 4★ journey hadn’t fallen in the COVID years… because those big moments, the people, the buzz… that’s what makes it so special 🖤
But behind all of that, there’s a side people don’t always see.
The cost 💸 (and it really is a huge one)
The time ⏳early mornings, long days, no real switch off
And the emotional side… showing up even on the hard days, when things aren’t going to plan
Because you don’t get to pause at this level. You just keep going.
And I wouldn’t change it, I’ve loved it more than anything 🤍
But it does make you think…
All those incredible moments…
what do they really cost?
Because the reality is, for every magical day competing, there’s so much happening behind the scenes that no one sees!
