From a pile of bricks ➡️ to a battle-ready legend. This minifigure-scale MOC captures the detail and power of the iconic Sherman Easy Eight—complete with opening hatches, 360° turret, and a detailed engine.

⚠️ I’ll say it upfront: I definitely prefer the design, instructions, style, and build quality of the @brick_by_design model I featured in my previous post (see my Linktr.ee for that one). This one was also extremely expensive for what you get compared to other desiyn —so consider that if you’re looking to build it yourself I HIGHLY recommend the @brick_by_design model.
Unfortunately I needed something minifig-scale to pair with the Fury MOC, this “Easy Eight” was the right size for the scene—even if it’s less impressive overall.
🛡️ Still, nothing beats watching a Sherman come together in LEGO—brick by brick.

Almost 30 years to the day since I joined up, and I felt every minute of it 🤣 #stillhangingout
Complete the below circuit:
· 5 – toe to bar (variation hanging knee raise)
· 10 – ski jumps (variation: alt lunges) done
· 15– press-ups (variation: press-ups on knees)
· 6 x 10m sprints (variation: jog or walk)
· 15 – sit-ups (variation: ab crunch)
· 10 – burpees (variation bodyweight squats) done
· 5 – pull-ups (variation: inverted row)

CI🥁 Drumroll, please! Lakeview Boulevard is now back open to two-way traffic between South Shore Boulevard and Iron Mountain Boulevard!
After nine months of intense work and major traffic adjustments, construction is mostly complete. The project features:
🚶♀️2,450 ft of new concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter on the north side of Lakeview
🧑🦼➡️A new, highly visible crosswalk and parking at the Lake Grove Swim Park.
☔️ 3,360 ft of new stormwater pipe, 25 stormwater catch basins and the largest public underground stormwater treatment system the City has installed to date!
🚜 4,470 ft of newly reconstructed roadway and pavement between South Shore and Iron Mountain.
🚴 New highly visible striping to help delineate the travel lanes for all roadway users.
Miscellaneous clean up and restoration items will continue over the coming weeks. Please keep an eye out for flaggers and expect some intermittent delays through fall as the project work wraps up.
Thank you to the community and traveling public for your patience while we have been rebuilding this roadway. We hope you enjoy these new improvements and this compilation of photos!
