Yeah… that’s when it gets interesting.
When you build this far out, there’s often less oversight, fewer inspections, and sometimes nobody double-checking the details. That doesn’t mean it’s bad — but it does mean things can slip through the cracks.
And they do.
Missing flashing. Loose wiring. Improper sealing. Stuff that’s “probably fine” until it’s not.
This is exactly why a third-party home inspection matters — especially on new builds.
Out here, nobody may be watching.
