Pay transparency is coming 👀 @adp_canada recently released their Canadian Workplace Trends for 2026 guidebook, and one key takeaway is that pay transparency is becoming a business standard, thanks to new rules and regulations. Pay transparency = when employers openly share information about a job’s salary range, and how pay decisions are made. In Ontario, Canada specifically, as of January 2026, new rules are requiring employers to: ➡️ Include compensation or a pay range in publicly posted job advertisements ➡️ Mandatory notifications of hiring decisions ➡️ Other requirements related to vacancy disclosure and AI-use disclosure These changes are great for candidates, but these new updates also mean that employers are now in a better position to build trust, attract talent, and remain competitive.
