Tu te reconnais dans ça ? “Quand je nage, je suis tout le temps essoufflé…” Si tu manques d’air en crawl, ce n’est PAS un problème de cardio. C’est un problème de respiration 👇 ⸻ 1️⃣ Tu ne gères pas ton expiration Quand tu respires en crawl, le cycle est simple : 👉 Tu inspires quand tu tournes la tête 👉 Tu expires… dans l’eau Mais l’erreur que 90% des nageurs font : ❌ Ils attendent de tourner la tête pour expirer ET inspirer. Résultat ? Tu n’as pas le temps de prendre assez d’air → sensation d’étouffement. ✅ Expire DANS l’eau, avant de tourner la tête. ⸻ 2️⃣ Tu expires tout d’un coup Autre erreur : vider complètement ses poumons en une seule fois. Tu n’es pas obligé de tout souffler d’un coup. Fais-le progressivement, par petites bouffées. Moi par exemple je fais : 💨 “chut” – “chut” – “chut” Trois petites expirations contrôlées sous l’eau. Ça te permet de : • Garder du contrôle • Éviter la panique • Optimiser ton inspiration ⸻ Si tu veux passer de 500m à 3km en 6 semaines avec : ✔️ Des données techniques précises ✔️ Des exercices techniques progressifs ✔️ Des conseils nutrition & hydratation ✔️ Une vraie structure d’entraînement J’ai créé un ebook complet pour ça. 👉 Lien dans ma bio. Crawling is so important for development- y’all know I’m obsessed with it! My oldest developed a ‘janky’ crawl, likely from his torticollis, and I worked so hard to correct it! Have your child crawl through tunnels, crawl up the stairs, and crawl over obstacles to help them develop the proper crawling pattern on their hands and knees. Keep in mind- it’s normal for babes to start off crawling with army crawls, bear crawls, and wonky patterns, but they should develop into a typically crawling pattern if there aren’t any medical conditions inhibiting this from happening. Primitive reflex integration, specifically the STNR, is a huge component to successful crawling! Once it begins to integrate, the child can start to crawl. Babes who don’t crawl are at a higher risk of retaining those primitive reflexes, decreased visual skills, weaker hands and upper body, and more. Not trying to provoke fear here, trying to promote awareness and advocacy because the more you know, the more you know! I want you to be able to walk into your pediatrician’s office and tell them why you’re concerned that your child isn’t crawling and be able to share some information as to why it’s so important that they do. Unfortunately, too many pediatricians (as well as the CDC) don’t understand the value of crawling on long term development. If your child skipped crawling- it’s never to o late to get them back down on the floor and crawl during play!
