I take 10 grams a day - My advice if you’re new to it then start with 3-5 grams a day - every day! Timing doesn’t matter but if you take it at the same time everyday this can help with remembering it! Yes even rest days you need to take it! Creatine doesn’t work instantly like caffeine, it takes time for your muscle cells to ‘fill up’ and this can take weeks but don’t let that put you off! I’ve been taking it for over 5 years and can confidently say it’s improved my strength, supports my recovery and I can push more reps out before I feel fatigued (this is also apparent with cardio workouts like sprints etc)! And for those of you who are scared to take it because ‘you get bloated’ - it draws water into the muscle cells (not your stomach!) which gives subtle improvements in muscle mass and tone - you’ll look more jacked 😏 If you experience any water retention, my advice is to ensure you’re drinking enough water and this will settle within a week or two.
