35+ and suddenly everyone is telling you to take creatine. So I did. For a full year. Here is what I actually noticed. There is a reason it keeps coming up for women 35+. As we age, we naturally lose muscle, recover slower, and fatigue easier. Creatine is one of the most researched supplements for supporting strength, recovery, and even cognitive function alongside training. My personal experience after one year: • My muscles pop more, especially my arms • My recovery is better and I am much less sore • I can lift consistently without feeling constantly run down • Mentally, I feel more clear and steady overall And no, it did not make me bulky. It just made my training, recovery, and performance better. I still lift heavy. I still eat normal food. I am not on a “perfect” diet. Creatine did not magically change my body overnight. It supported the work I was already doing.
