AYPuff Pastry Stuffed Bananas with Crispy Kadaif & Pistachio Cream 🥐🍌
crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside… this is next-level dessert and so easy to make!
Ingredients:
• 3 - 4 Bananas
• 230 gr Puff pastry
• Kadaif (shreded phylo dough)
• 20 gr Butter
• 3 tbsp Pistachio cream
On top:
• Powdered sugar
• Crushed pistachios
Here’s how I made it:
1. Take a banana and slice it down the middle (not all the way through).
2. Use a small spoon to scoop out a bit and create a hollow center.
3. In a pan, toast some kadaif (shredded phyllo dough) with butter until golden and crispy.
4. Mix it with a spoonful of pistachio cream.
5. Fill the hollow banana with the kadaif-pistachio mix.
6. Cut your puff pastry into long vertical strips.
7. Wrap the banana with the strips.
8. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 20–25 minutes or until golden.
9. Once baked, drizzle more pistachio cream on top, dust with powdered sugar, and sprinkle with crushed pistachios.

AL💖✨homemade edible glitter! Just another fun little way to add some glamour to your bakes ✨
You can change up the colours to match whatever you’re baking, or make a few and mix them all together to create a custom glitter. This would be a fun little project for kids too!
You will need:
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 400ml water
- 1 drop food colouring
1. Mix a splash of water with the cornflour and stir until that’s dissolved, then add the rest of the water.
2. Over a medium heat, stir continuously until it thickens, this can take a while about 15-20 minutes.
3. Pour into a bowl (or a few if you’re doing different colours)
4. Spread thinly over a sheet of cling film or any other plastic surface like a silicone mat. Baking paper will not work!
5. Leave it to dry completely - mine dried overnight but this will vary depending on heat and humidity!
6. Peel off and blitz in a food processor.
7. Sprinkle away! ✨✨✨
