ISISLRTC successfully signed six MoUs in a MoU Signing Ceremony held under the chairpersonship of Dr. Virendra Kumar, Hon’ble Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, on 22nd July 2024 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC), Janpath, New Delhi.
The distinguished organizations involved include Enable India, Deaf Enabled Foundation, Yunikee, India Singing Hands Pvt. Ltd. and Linguistic Empowerment Cell, JNU. The Director of ISLRTC Dr. N. Honnareddy exchanged the MoUs with these esteemed organizations, marking a significant step towards collaboration and development in the field of Indian Sign Language.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of several dignitaries including Sh. Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD); Sh. Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Joint Secretary, DEPwD; Dr. N. Honnareddy, Director, ISLRTC and Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Director( A)
This collaboration aims to further enhance the reach and efficacy of Indian Sign Language initiatives, contributing to the empowerment and inclusion of the Deaf community.
