MOStory Summary of Debris (2021)
Debris follows two agents from different countries:
Finola Jones, an MI6 agent from the UK who is idealistic and empathetic.
Bryan Beneventi, a CIA agent from the United States who is more cold and pragmatic.
They work together to investigate pieces of debris from a mysterious alien spacecraft that exploded in Earth’s orbit. These fragments fall across various locations, each containing strange, unpredictable, and often dangerous abilities, such as:
moving objects or people,
creating duplicates,
influencing minds,
connecting to other dimensions.
Every piece of debris has the power to alter reality, and often brings tragedy to anyone who comes into contact with it.
Finola and Bryan’s mission is to collect these pieces before they end up in the wrong hands.
However, conflicts arise because:
MI6 and the CIA both have their own hidden agendas.
A mysterious organization called Influx wants to use the debris to reshape the world according to their ideology.
Bryan is keeping an important secret from Finola.
The debris itself may have a larger purpose, not just alien technology.
As the story unfolds, they begin to realize that this alien technology might be a form of communication, or perhaps a warning, and its existence could determine the fate of humanity.
