This game is a twist of the classic pairs game where players match equivalent fractions and decimals but with the addition of using a visual resource (number line and place value charts) to help support them. This will help children to embed their learning and give you a good understanding of whether or not your children understand where decimals and fractions appear on a number line/place value chart. It’s important to remember that children learn best when they are not under pressure or feel stressed so this ensures that children will be having fun (as they are playing a game) and will feel supported (as they can use the number line or place value grids to help them decide if the decimals and fractions are equivalent or not. This printable game is available for years 4-6.
