🥁 DSU Drumline performed their warmups, cadences, and challenges for us, then we got to drum together! @madbeatzphilly upperclassmen will visit more college band programs this year - if you’re a 4-5 hour drive from Philly or less, hmu and we’ll visit you!

AUBEACH VIBES IN AUSTIN! 😎
🏖️Emma Long Metro Park has a little beach area with soft sand and shallow water.
🏖️ there are also two piers, if your kids want to practice their cannonballs
🏖️there isn’t really any shade at this part of the park; bring a hat, some sunscreen and shade tent
🏖️bring water shoes! the sand can get hot and parts of the water can be slippery.
🔔Emma Long is busiest Friday-Sun and these passes usually sell out. Get your pass online in advance!
🔔SAVE MONEY: it’s less busy (and cheaper!) during the week and you don’t need advance reservations
🚗the beach area is right by the restrooms and showers, and there is parking near it. the rest of the park has lake access, but it’s along the banks.
🏖️pack a picnic or hit up @skishores afterwards!
🎟️Passes are $5 per car from Mon - Thurs and $10 per car Fri - Sun.

Emma Long Metro Park tiene una pequeña playa con agua que no es muy hondo. Otras cosas que debes saber:
🏖️no hay mucha sombra en esta parte del parque.
🏖️trae zapatos para el agua. (partes del agua pueden ser resbaladizas y la arena se calienta)
🏖️necesitas hacer reservaciones antes de ir si vas un fin de semana! no esta tan ocupado durante la semana.
