COWhen it comes to taxes, all models, whether agency signed or freelancers, are considered independent contractors and are self-employed in the eyes of the government. As such, like any other self-employed person they are able to "write-off" legitimate business expenses as a deduction from their taxable income, reducing how much they owe the government in taxes. We discuss this at length at #CocoRochaModelCamp. Unfortunately, some models try to take advantage of this provision by writing off nearly everything in their life as a "business expense" which comes at the considerable risk of being exposed if and when they are audited, Models are routinely audited more than many other professionals, for that very reason. Once they are, the government will go over every expense with a fine tooth comb, and the model would need to prove why she made those deductions on every line item. The moral of the story is to be fair and honest on your taxes and be conscientious about record keeping. At the end of the day, if you treat modeling as a business, not a lifestyle, your business will have longevity. We discuss this topic and much more at CRMC, even getting into the complications of international tax law( when models start working in more than just one country) which is a whole new set of things to consider. It's great to be skilled in front of the camera, but if you don't understand how your business works, how you save money and make money, you're doing yourself a disservice. Even seasoned models have been surprised by how much they learn from our classes on these topics.

MIA árvore decisional no contexto do Modelo Denver de Intervenção Precoce (ESDM - Early Start Denver Model) é uma ferramenta estruturada utilizada por clínicos e terapeutas para orientar o tratamento de crianças com autismo (geralmente entre 12 e 48/60 meses).
Ela atua como um guia passo a passo para decisões clínicas quando a criança não está progredindo como esperado, permitindo a aplicação de práticas empíricas.
Função da Árvore de Decisão no ESDM
Avaliação de Progresso:
A árvore auxilia na identificação de quando o plano de ensino atual não está gerando a aprendizagem esperada.
Ajuste de Estratégias: Se um objetivo não é alcançado, a árvore de decisão ajuda o terapeuta a decidir se deve:
Simplificar o objetivo (torná-lo mais fácil).
Mudar a abordagem de ensino (mais lúdico, mais suporte).
Mudar o reforçador (motivação da criança).
Foco no Desenvolvimento: O ESDM foca em habilidades sociais, comunicação (verbal/não verbal), cognição e habilidades motoras.
