If push-ups feel harder but you’re not stronger, here’s why: Reps increase fatigue. They don’t automatically increase load. Strength responds to mechanical tension. To progress pushing strength: ● Increase forward lean ● Extend range ● Slow eccentrics ●Progress leverage Same pattern. More demand. People dont get enough from their push ups because they just keep adding reps to regular push ups. Thats like staying at 60kg bench press and just adding reps every week instead of adding weight.
