HOThis clip of a healthy tan dingo at Box Forest in Lamington National Park is kindly supplied to Home Habitat by Mal Burgess, a hiking enthusiast who spotted the dingo during a walk through the scenic rim.
We use these images and photos as part of data collection that tracks dingos in South East Queensland the Scenic Rim with the goal of advocating for their expanded protections in the region.

CADingo forces family to retreat back into the ocean on K’gari island.
Years ago we use to camp anywhere we felt like on K’gari island, it was magical under the millions of stars set up behind the sand dunes. However those rules have changed and now you need to camp in designated camp sites. Over the years the Dingos on K’gari island have become more confident around the visitors perhaps that’s the drive behind the change. If you’re vigilant whilst visiting the island and take the advice from the rangers you shouldn’t have any issues, however this was very interesting behaviour I’ve not seen before.
